Planning Applications – We undertake the full range of planning applications for a new development of all kinds and changes of use of land and property e.g., for residential, commercial and industrial proposals.
Appeals – We can deal with appeals under Written Representations, Informal Hearings and Public Inquiries in circumstances where planning permission has been refused.
Land Promotion – The advice we provide to clients may not always precipitate recommendations to pursue planning applications in the short term and therefore, we undertake site promotions such that sites and proposals are brought forward in the medium-long term.
Planning Advocacy – We can represent clients at Planning Inquiries for new development plans to ensure their sites and proposals are reflected positively in relation to emerging planning policy
Enforcement – We can assist clients in circumstances when enforcement action is being pursued e.g., through new or revised applications and certificates of lawfulness.
Planning & Development Appraisals – We can assist with prospective development opportunities and proposals for the development and use of land, including new development, extensions to existing uses, adaptations and alterations, on both greenfield and brownfield land.
Evidence-Based Reports – We undertake a range of evidence reports on behalf of both private clients and Local Planning Authorities to either challenge or else support new Local Plans. These include proposals on planning feasibility.

Site Appraisal - For development on greenfield or brownfield sites, we prepare the full range of surveys and specialist inputs needed for a fully comprehensive site appraisal service.
Site Investigation - As experienced site investigation engineers, we deliver Phase 1 Desk Studies and Coal Mining Risk Assessments to allow us to design and deliver a comprehensive site investigation, consulting and contracting service. This includes high quality geo-environmental interpretative and factual reports, which provide cost effective and innovative engineering advice for use in the detailed design and implementation of a range of development projects.
Land Reclamation – We have vast experience in designing remediation strategies for a range of brownfield development. We also have extensive knowledge of opencast and colliery spoil sites.
Environmental Impact Assessment - We provide wide-ranging experience in securing consent for development by project managing and undertaking full Environmental Impact Assessments in a thorough and cost-effective manner.
Due Diligence - Our due diligence expertise allows us to advise and define a managed, cost-effective and mapped strategy to determine the degree of potential environmental risk and appropriate mitigation, whether it be for land acquisition, transfer of responsibilities or development.
Mitigation Strategies - our mitigation expertise is varied and addresses design solutions and strategies for all aspects of development.
